Stacie was born and raised in beautiful Central Oregon and feels very blessed to call it home. At the age of four her mother enrolled her in ballet lessons and she continued dancing until the age of 18. This foundation gave her discipline and in turn, success in sports growing up. As an adult, she has continued with fitness, running several half marathons and the Portland Marathon in 2003. By her 30’s Stacie began experiencing aches and pains, leading to injuries that sidelined her. She attended therapy, and was able to get back into fitness, but this time she felt stiff and not quite the same as before. A good friend introduced her to yoga, and while she was unconvinced yoga was for her, she found that it was the only activity that gave her the flexibility and grace she experienced with dancing. She quickly fell in love with yoga and enjoys the many benefits her practice brings.
With the encouragement and support of her husband and fellow yogis, she completed her 200hr Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training with Rolf Gates. Stacie enjoys sharing yoga with others, bringing balance and well-being to each of her students.
